Hi Ben, if a seller provides goods ex-works but charges a second line item for EU – UK transport (ex-works) who is responsible if the goods are received damaged? From my understanding ex-works relates to goods only and not a shipping charge sold as a service.

Many commercial premises have 440V going into the premises. Currently there is no 440V Smart Meter certified for use according to SSE.

I had proof of changing my rates with valuation office and a local boro council, the council had stated they had no record of the change even though I provided emails etc and refused to pay the first initial sum.

Too many businesses were in distress pre Covid. Whether that be due to dated services / products, lack of skills and knowledge of running a business, especially in the new digital age. Increasing business rates/costs is too much for companies on a tight margin. Throw in shutting down the economy for 18 months what do we expect? Now the government assistance has stopped the true affects of Covd will come to light. Your local high street will show you the true economy as government numbers IE unemployment / inflation are extremely manipulated. Good luck all

I am sorry but this is not clear. Lets say the contract says to pay only statutory while on sick leave. So that this means you pay 20 days or 28 days, as it needs to include bank holidays, even if off sick?

Absoute load of rubbish…staff on the 8.91 per hour rate were getting more than me the owner! Who on earth in the hosptaliaty industry is paying less than 8.91 – i dont know anyone. we are struggling to get back on our feet since Covid – prices will need to increase significantly, how else are we going to pay for this? You are creating an entitiled bunch of millenniels!

It would be better if the Government could wipe some of small business debt, accrued through no fault of their own, and started to help employers instead of rising minimum wage, national insurance etc when most small businesses are trying to find their feet again….and staff as many paid for furlough employees decided that they enjoyed not working and took all the money but decided not to return to work!

we are also a small business and were rejected for the same reasons even though the business performance is good the other reason we were given was that we had not earned enough in 2019 we had only been trading 6 months then the loan was intended for expansion as we had been offered a new contract which meant hiring an additional 10 people but none of that was taken in to account this loan scheme is just more hot air from government just a waste of time
